Benjamin Moore Color of the Year 2013

Benjamin Moore Color of the Year 2013

The folks at Benjamin Moore Paint have just announced their Color of the Year for 2013:  Lemon Sorbet…

This pale, creamy yellow (#2019-60) brings a fresh vibe to walls, and it is more interesting than the ever-standard beige.  Although it’s not necessarily a neutral color, it works with many different accent colors, from turquoise to rust.

Check out a few of the items I found that reflect this hue:

This rug from Bellacor is a little deeper in color, but offers another way to bring pale yellow into your home – or patio:

How cute is this cottage-style chandelier, also found on Bellacor?

This pillow shows one option for a great color scheme incorporating soft yellow:

Pale yellow is gorgeous with gray, as well – a wonderful contrast of warm and cool hues.  This bench from Pottery Barn is a great example of that:

This bowl from Room & Board would bring sparkle to any drab table or shelf:

So, what do you think?  Will you be bringing a little Lemon Sorbet into your home next year?
