I recently ran across a company called Trove, and I just loved their innovative wallpaper and window film patterns.
Many of the patterns, including the one shown here, have an ethereal quality to them – almost like one is taking a walk through a woods on a hazy fall afternoon. The “Sargasso” pattern looks like a handpainted mural of the sea.
According to their website, the wallpaper patterns can also be printed on both wood veneer and window film! The wood veneer could then be used on doors, cabinetry, a reception desk in a commercial space – nearly anywhere. While I’ve seen wood veneer wallpaper before, I have never seen an option to have it printed.
I also like the idea of printed window film. In some areas, like over a bathtub, window treatments can be a pain (unless you choose battery-operated shades so you can operate them easily!); a decorative film can be a nice alternative.
These items are available to the trade only, so you need to contact a designer to purchase them. What do you think? Do you have a place for one of these interesting wallpapers?
